Foreclosures

I know of a couple of foreclosures within our neighborhood and so hopefully these properties will sell soon and then nice families will move in. It is unfortunate when houses foreclose, but it is a reality right now in our marketplace. One thing that I have noticed about one of these properties in particular (the house on Croydon Way with the blue tarp on the roof that has been for sale for 5 months maybe) is that there has been an issue with both graffiti and also forced entry. Apparently a vacant house is a sitting target in the minds of a few, because certain people just see it as an opportunity to mess with the house, maybe do their drugs inside, destroy something, who knows. Whatever the case, it's not okay to have personal property messed with in our n-hood, and so let's be on the lookout and dial 911 where needed if these homes are being messed with.
