CordovaTowne.com

Our neighborhood website at www.cordovatowne.com has officially launched. This is exciting stuff. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Business Section: The site has a "local business" section HERE. This is so that we can know about local business and boost our local economy where possible. So if you would like to add your business for free (or a company you represent), let me know. Or if your neighbor has a business, let him/her know about this because it's free marketing. We are also open to paid business sponsors for events we do and to be posted in this section.

Events Section: This section (HERE) on the site is to let everyone know about neighborhood events. Are you doing a yard sale soon? Are you doing some sort of class for the neighborhood? Is there a Neighborhood Watch meeting that you'd like to let others know about? Would you like to let others know about a particularly important City Council meeting?

Links Section: Is there a link or important phone number you'd like to suggest to be added? HERE.

About Section: Is there any pertinent Cordova Towne history that you think would be beneficial to be added HERE? Some residents have lived here for fifty years, so I would like to defer to them for a more detailed description of our history. Also, as our community leadership core develops, the About Section will change over time to include roles that local leaders will play within Cordova Towne. I believe that the effectiveness of our efforts will be directly correlated to having a solid leadership core, so be on the lookout for more information and be thinking of what role you might play, whether big or small, in helping our neighborhood grow in the right direction. What is it that you dream of?

NOTE: As I told those on the neighborhood email list already, we have secured full funding for the Cordova Towne Walking Nights events coming soon. This means that we will have at least $100 to raffle off on each Walking Night as well as ample water and all that we need. Be looking for flyers in the mail this weekend most likely (and if anyone would like to help pass them out, that would be really great).
