Walking Nights Success

Wow, we had our first Walking Nights event tonight and I'd say that it was a huge success. Thank you to all who showed up and to those who passed out flyers and helped get this idea off of the ground. It was truly wonderful to see so many people come out and to be a part of deliberate community building in our neighborhood. Did you meet any neighbors that you had not known before? I certainly did. And they were nice too. :) This is just the beginning to something wonderful in our neighborhood, don't you think?

Let's keep the momentum going by telling neighbors about the next Walking Nights event on July 25th. And if you have any input for the next event or would like to help in the planning process, let me know. It was suggested that maybe next time we could all meet on Croydon Way at 6:30pm and then take off together on one massive walk at 7pm. That could work. It's not in stone yet by any means, but what do you think of that idea? Any other feedback and creativity is welcome, so fire away.
