Update on Fourplex

As mentioned in a previous post, the 4-plex on Portsmouth & Birmingham is bank-owned. If you have noticed as of late too, all four front doors have been boarded up in order to avoid habitation in light of tenants being evicted due to substandard housing violations. While on our Walking Nights event, I snapped the following picture just in case you want to click on it and read the terminology used by the City as well as the violations at hand. This is good news for the neighborhood because it means that tenants have been evicted and that corrections must occur before the property is rented again.
