Linked / Volleyball / Median / Yard Sale

Linked Up: The Cordova Towne Neighborhood Association is now linked from the City of Rancho Cordova's front page. This is great to have additional web exposure as it is a good way to let others in the neighborhood as well as other Cordovans know what we are up to.

Volleyball: We had a wonderful time playing volleyball at Whiterock Park on Wednesday. Thanks Ruth for planning this and to everyone who showed up. We honestly didn't know if anyone would make it out in 100 degree weather, but we had enough to play and the great thing is that six junior highers came out too.

Median Meeting: There is a meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 09/04/07 at 5:30pm at City Hall in order to discuss the median on Croydon Way & Mather Field. The flyer in the mail said that there would be discussion over the median as well as other options besides the median, so it sounds as if the Council might have heard the voices of residents on this issue. We shall see. Please attend if you are able to since this is an important issue for many residents.

Yard Sale: There will be a yard sale at 10267 Croydon Way on Saturday (tomorrow) starting at 6:30am. Baseball cards, kids stuff, toys, baby clothing, miscellaneous household items, a suitcase, picnic basket, oil dipping set, stuffed animals, books, board games, CDs, a couple of DVDs, and other stuff. (and anyone else who does a yard sale, speak up about it and it can get on the blog and neighborhood calendar).
