Dental Work for Kids

There is an event coming on February 2nd (Saturday) called Smiles for Kids Day. Per an email from FCCP, "This event, coordinated by the Sacramento District Dental Society and its member dentists, provides free restorative dental treatment to uninsured children and youth in Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, El Dorado and Amador counties. This is a great opportunity to connect families with this wonderful resource. Children that are seen on this day are treated, if possible but may also receive necessary follow up treatment throughout the year via the society's Adopt-a-Kid program." As noted to me by the organizer of this event, slots in Sacramento County are limited and they are likely to be filled by kids with chronic restorative needs, so if you are interested in this event, please call Kelly at (916) 684-7751.
